My Firebird's alarm system will not make a sound when I set it off. The lights flash and thats it. I was told by the dealer that it was very sensitive and it was annoying and it worked just fine. But not anymore something has changed since i have owned it. Anyone else have this problem?

If you have an aftermarket, check and see if the ground wire coming from the alarm is conected. Every time I disconnect my battery to work on my car I take the ground wire off so that when I connect my battery again my alarm dosent send through my hood. Just the lights flash.
