You shouldn't be doing burnouts at all unless you like screwing up your brakes your transmission your tires, etc ...

The OEM Zexel Torsen differential does not necessarily require the additive. I never added the additive and have no problems at all.

            Both </font>
Umm wheel spin from a stand still doesn't do anything but waste your tires, I suggest you check your facts. Brake stands on the otherhand do mess up your brakes and your tranny. Line locks are the best way to go for burnouts.

On the other hand, people have been doing burnouts like that for decades. If it was really that bad for your car, I doubt we'd still be doing it the same way.

Its ok to do a burnout every once in a while, I've done several (like 3 or 4) just don't over-do it.

I agree with Camarorulz. I've done maybe 5 or so real burnouts in 50,000 miles. I doubt it does much when in that proportion.

Okay So a brake stand is holding your foot on the brake while doing a burnout right?? Then the line lock is push the brake, hit the switch and release the brake.. then hit the accelerator and the front brakes will be locked untill you let go of the switch.. How is that better if you are still locking the brakes up??

You can mess up your brakes by slamming on them at high speeds.. Thats what breaks are there to to wear down.. I have about 30 passes at the track in the past year, I do burnout(brakestands) before each run and have had the same pads ands rotors on for the past 2 1/2 years

heh, I broke my driveshaft doing a burn out, luckily it was still under warranty, but Im not about to test it out of warranty, that was like $1200 of which I only had to pay $35 You could probably hear it all over downtown Dallas when I did it, luckily no cops came nosing around, which was really surprising
