Yeah I've been following a bit here and there. I'm glad you've finally gotten it together after all those long *** threads lol.
thanks guys, this is the 2nd long thread invloving this project i've undergone, you may have already read the book entitled "rocker Q's" in the advanced section lol
anyhow, just got to add some more coolant and wait for some decent weather and i'll drive her and see how much she's "woken up"
in total i added a P&P throttle body (compliments of Funkz) , alternator underdrive pulley (i had just the crank pulley before) and 1.6 roller rocker arms, a slight step up from the stock ones... they have been noted to add aprox 8 hp at the crank.
so i'm hoping that i'll be able to feel some sort of power gains, either way, sure beats my 4cylinder beater.
update, i took her out for a drive today, seems OK but not great. theres def something goin on tho. When i punch the gas the rpms shoot up to about 4500 within a second and the car doesn't really accelerate, i'm wondering if that has to do with any water left in my oil or with my gas that has been sitting for a while (even though i put fuel saver in) or if maybe it was just normal and it would go down eventually, what do u guys think?
glad you got it running okay. Your new problem does not sound like it would be related to oil, gas , or the motor at all. Sounds like slipping tranny or clutch. If it's an auto, check the fluid level. Let us know.

well its not anything major, just the rpms seem to shoot higher when i hit the gas, but either way the car does seem pretty fast.
since driving it last i have put my stock alternator pulley and belt on because my volts were dropping super low.
other than that one problem i could not be happier, even my subs hit as well as they did before winter
also, i changed my oil again today (3rd time in 3 days) and found little/no water in the oil so looks like i'm in the clear there.
hahahah, do you have to take off the heads for that?
anyhow, quick Q.
My car has been running OK but sometimes it will "pulse" like a surge, and it drops in voltage and rpms, ususally when at a stop light. I took out the IAC and sprayed the $hit out of it with carb cleaner, put it back in, took it for a drive... seems a bit better but now i have an SES light on. Did i spray it too much? will i have to get a new one? Or will it dry out eventually?

The IAC will dry out, but I am not convinced that is the reason why the SES light is on. Can you get it scanned?
it sounds like because your getting more air/fuel its having an effect like an old carbed motor with a carb thats to big. You loading up, be careful of that because excess gas in the cylinder will "wash them". when it does that just give a tap on the gas and it will stop. You need a tune is all. make a few more mods and call FAST, they can do a custom chip for about $300
