Ok, but then how will he know if the low compression is due to the head gasket or the valves out of adjustment?
He should have air and water/coolant coming out of the water jackets if there is a blown head gasket. The cylinders with the valves adjusted wrong should have no compression. He's got it apart he can back the valves off if he has a cylinder with very low compression and do the test on that cylinder again again.

overall, i'd have to say i'm happy with what came as a result of today, though i shall be thorougly embarassed by the end of the story so here goes:
There were two problems.
1. My oil was white, and looked like milk.
2. My car was sputtering, dying, and shooting gas out the tail pipes, and eventually wouldn't even start.
Well, for the first problem it's actually a rather simple one, and an embarassing one also, more in because i did not think of it sooner and save you all and myself a great deal of trouble and worrying. While i thought it was a blown head gasket or a leak at the lower intake i was wrong on both counts.
You see, my car leaks in the middle of the cowl down into the engine bay a few drips at a time whenever it's wet. Well, i had my intakes off for a couple months and not realizing this water accumulated into the oil pan etc. It mixed with my oil (not the coolant originally thought! which is why my unc says it was so white because thats what water does with oil) So technically the LIM was fine but i had it off for good measure and put a new gasket on.
In regards to the valve adjustment, my uncle is convinced we tightened them down in the wrong order so he helped me do it right.
We slapped the LIM and valve covers on and put the plenum in place as well. Also, we swapped my old Gasoline soaked plugs with some new NGK's. All that is left is to torque down the plenum bolts, put in the EGR and connect the little goodies and wires. After that i'll start her up. I'm hoping to get this done after work tomorrow so stay tuned there will be a final update.
Thanks for the help, support, and sorry for not realizing that water leak until now.
this sounds better than earlier in the week
I'll be waiting for the update! :)
update is here!'
i put everything back together, changed the oil and filter, and started her up!
she revved a bit high at first but settled down in a little bit. The idle seemed very smooth and much quieter than before. When i revved the engine it sounded full and healthy. I'm drunk right now so what i'm saying might sound stupid. anyhow, i still need to fill it up with some more coolant but after that i'll drop the car and drive it around, then change the oil after a week or so, just to get out all that water.
everything looks OK!
i'm really happy too cuz its like spring and i want to drive my car now and not my beat up beater.
