Today I got a SES light for the first time. The car was having no trouble or symptoms at all, driving perfectly. So I found out I was low on oil. I put a quart of 10W-30 in it. Then I drove my girlfriend home and came back. I shut off the car, hoping when I turned it back on, the SES light would be off.
Instead, I get a clicking noise when I turn the key. I kept turning it off and on, and same thing. It clicks 6 times, then stops. Then when I shut the car off, it clicks once. I can't tell where, but it sounds like the noise is coming from under the driver's seat, or in the back.
Can anyone help me?
Edit: Nah, it wasn't dead battery or fuel pump. I went to a service station where my friend works. I filled it up with gas while I was waiting for him. When I turned the key to let him hear the noise, it didnt do it anymore. When I started the car, the SES light wasn't lit either.
I guess my car just is a whiner when it is hungry
