Just curious. I'm seriously looking into it. I heard they dropped their price to around $330.

I went to the ClubGp forum and heard nothing but good things about the chip. I'm gonna give Ase a call tomorrow and confirm the price.

Shortdog, when you call can you confirm the price, & ask if it can recalibrate the speedo for gear changes, even if it costs extra & post when you find out?

          thanks,

          phil

It says it does on their website, but I'll ask em to make sure when I give em a buzz.

Disregard my last post. I gave em a call and it doesn't recalibrate the speedo for gear changes. They also charge you an extra 30 bucks if you wanna keep your stock chip.

Ah yea, the price is $329. The $480 is a misprint on their website. That price might be for the V8s. So, if you wanna keep your stock chip and shipping cost depending where you live, the total price for me was around $390.

I dont see the point if it doesnt recalibrate for speedo

this chip is just performance oriented, for those whose pcms are alreayd recalibrated

Yea, I know.. it's just if you're going to spend $300 on a chip to upgrade performance then theres a good chance that you've upgraded or are going go with a different gear ratio and a lot of people out there arent capable of having the thing recalibrated on their own..

                          oh well.

let us know how it works out for ya
