I wanted to know where people got thier brass headlight gears for the 93-97 firebirds. I want to buy 2 so i can fix my broken one and replace the other one so it doesnt break but i dont feel like spening like, 80 for each.
Anyone know where the cheapest place to get them is?
So they can break again? If I have it open id rather replace them with something stronger.
check ebay, i think you can find them cheap, also he's right, flipping it 180 degrees is a better option imo. It's not hard to take out the headlight motor assembly at all, frank whats his name has an easy step by step write up on how to do it, he's an f body enthusiast and he sells vinyl things as well i just can't recall the name, but his sight has a write up on it. I followed the write up and i finished it in a couple of hours.
his name is Brett Franker, check out his site, he sells those metal gears for a good price too, and his write up will work with plastic OR metal gears.
