I have a 95 3.4L camaro a4. Every so often when i nail it my car will take off really slow and stop at around 3k rpm, it will keep going faster, but really slowly. Then it hits around 55-60 and my car takes off like normal. When i come to a complete stop and im holding the brake, theres a thump that feel like its comin from the rear end.
Does anybody have a idea whats wrong? Hopefully its nothing too bad.

My car was doing something similar and I needed a tranny rebuild.....in reality I needed a Torque converter (the lagging) but my clutches were wearing out...after 130K I guess it wasn't too bad.

I would rule out any fuel or spark related problems first... the tranny is a tough nut to swallow. A new TC is $90+ at O'Reilly's...but install can be a pain.
