When do you recomend to flush and refill? Now?. Hanes says every 5 years or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. The last time the shop did it for me was little more than 3 years ago. The mileage was around 75,000 miles.

you dont specify what your mileage is now, but im assuming its between 100,000 and 120,000 miles, personally i would say its fine, i flushed mine out around 115,000 miles

102,000 miles. When you say "its fine" is it means "go ahead and flush it", or "you don't have to until later". Thanks ahead for your help.

        personally i would wait

as long as the coolant looks good, you are fine, take your cap off and look at the color, it should be bright orange (assuming they put dexcool in it)

Yes, it is orange dexcool. But the radiator cap and the neck when the cap is on is some muddy.

Flush that DexCrap out...go with the Green stuff.

After many failed attempts to keep DexCrap from sludging...even after 3 back flushes and even professional flushes, I said to hell with it and ran regular green-glycol coolant...no problems, but 30K flushes are needed.

I have read about the green coolant. I've looking at autostores and I haven't found.

I don't know, but I have read several threads and many people here preferred the green coolant.

everybody on here, practically, says dexcool is crap. i think that too. but my mechanic recommended that we put it back in. and mechanics that he knows recommend it as well. i'm gonna go ahead and put it back in.
