hmm i have a 96 3.8 and just recently replaced the oil sending unit about a week and a half ago, because that thing was leaking out oil when the car was running. So when i was installing the new unit it went all the way but a quarter of an inch to go, the reason i stopped is because it was tightened as hard as i could without messing it up. so i turned on the car to see if it worked and there was no leak. But i Noticed the oil pressure has been idling at around the 90 mark since. is that normal or what?

Re: Oil sending unit Pressure?
When I start mine up , it goes up there, try driving it around some, it should go back down to 60 mark or less while crusing, if not it might be a bad unit.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
