got in my car to go somewhere this morning and the starter just kept trying to start but the engine wouldnt turn over. thought it was just the battery so i charged it, but still nothing. i have half a tank of gas. oil pressure gauge is reading very low but thats probably just because the engine isnt running. all inside electronics are working fine. the engine just wont turn over and start running. any ideas?

Re: car wont start
Glad it worked. Got some help here awhile ago having the same symptoms and that is what did it for me.
:) Just try to clean it and see if that works. Otherwise take it with you to Autozone to get a new one.. the core charge on them is retarded.

Re: car wont start
As far as I understand just unplugging the MAF will make the engine rely on the MAP sensor alone just ignoring the MAF tables. Car isn't going to run very fantastic at all, but at least it will start and hold an idle.
If you plug the MAF back in after she's running I bet you'll get a gurgle and a stop a short bit later after the engine starts trying to use it to adjust your fuel volume.
That's what I understand it as, but I'm not a tuner/sensor-guru. All I know is it works. ;)
