For Some reason My spedo cuts out sometimes and drops to zero. Then when I shift it kicks back on. Second maybe a result of this problem, the cruise after I set it bounces about 10 miles over then ten miles below. I wanted to check for a cable but chilton's says it is a sensor. any ideas????

dying alternator/battery? those two can cause the electrical system to do some really wacky stuff. -
