someone help me install a fan switch on my 95 3.4L please. all the threads i've seen use two wires, one for high and one for low. my car only has one fan and i thus only has one speed. so what color wire should i be looking for to hook up to a switch and ground? thanks in advance.

You have a OBD-I car and therefore:

But that still shows two wires for the fans. He's saying he only has one fan. Does that one fan operate on two different speeds? Or are there two fans on a 3.4?

3.4 and LT1 had both single and dual fans.

I'll say this again - if you DON'T have wiring diagrams to sort out the wire colors you really shouldn't messing with circuit mods.

that' the reason i'm trying to get this cleared before i go into it. isn't this what this forum is about? i've seen this diagram you posted, it has 2 speeds, hence the 2 wires. for 1 fan, do i only need to splice into 1 wire, and if so, which one? this is what i'm trying to figure out.
