  • Is it worth it to get the Accel ignition coils?

    With my current mods. I'm thinking of gettin some Accel ignition coils. Would this benefit me? If so wuld they add any power or just help get the power quicker with a quicker spark or wut?

    Well, maybe of some benefit at higher rpms. One benefit of Accels, Jegs, or most any upscale coils are the contact materials. The Accels etc., use a contact material other than and better than aluminum. You will not get the corrosion with the Accel coils that you do with stock.

      My personal preference as far as coils are concerned are the MSD coils. I have had 4 Accel coils burn up on me and I am not very fond of them at this point in time. Also, just FYI, the Accel coils are on backorder from Accel right now so unless your vendor has them in stock, be prepared to wait for some time.
