I'm curious if this happens to anyone but me. The only time that I get an SES light is when I travel on the highway for about 30 minutes or more, never does it any other time. When I get the SES on the highway nothing changes as far as the ride is concerned, but when I get back to city driving, it shifts hard as SH#@ from first to second. That's all it does, all the other gears appear to be fine, but 1 to 2.....like a bat outta hell. Well, once I drive for about another 20 minute or so city...it is fine again. Weird huh? Same thing I said.

yea i have the same problem but only happens when i drive my car hard for a long period of time in the hot weather.. but never throws a code just shifts hard.. i have heard its the valve body or something like that

This is the thing, once it goes away, I NEVER have another problem out of it. Is it something that is in dire need of being fixed right away, or can I get away with it?
