  • Odd engine hesitation, only when wheel is turned

If I take a turn and give the car a bit of gas, there is a bit of hesitation..like a second or so then the car goes. Any idea why only when turning? Going straight is no issue whatsoever so I'm kind of wondering what it may be.

I haven't had the throttle body cleaned and I have a few exhaust leaks that I should fix. Can that cause this?

Also, it is the first time I've driven the car in like 2 years. I did always start it up on a week by week basis. I put about 80km's on it on Saturday. Basically used up all my old gas and put in high octane.

almost on the verge of stalling it. But I'd say more on the running side. If that makes sense. It sputters a bit then it goes.

I do remember when I was driving it as my daily driver before I garaged it......One day, I tried pulling a quick U-turn, and the car actually turned off! Started up again no problem.

You get a trac light at all when this happens? Or do you even have traction control?

Now that you mention it, my belt may have a few cracks in it. It is for sure time to change it. I'll do try that. Thanks for everybody's help it's appreciated. I'll update the thread when it's fixed.
