i need help

two days ago i went into my bird and smelt a heavly gas odor. yesterday i didnt drive it, and today my dad took it for a ride and wen i came home i looked at the drive way and seen a stain. later today i went to move it and smelt the gas odor again and soon came to realize there was something pissing out out into my drive way. anyone no wat this could be. thanks for any help.

A...... GAS LEAK . Either a leaking fuel line or filter. You'll need to look under the car while it's running to see where it's coming from.

i got it fixed today the damage $90, aint bad. it was a rusted fuel pump.

The fuel pump is inside the tank. How could that be spraying gas? Maybe a rusted fuel filter.

thats what I was thinkin...and being submerged in gas wouldn't let it rust....

Also, if it was the filter...ouch on the $90...

Ehh. considering the filter is like 10 bux... but then again, if you cant do it yourself, that means nothing.

$10 filter + 15 minutes to change should not = $90. lol you got owned. Nice. Why didn't you just look under there and try and fix it yourself?

i new this guy was a ****in crook. my reg guy who does everything was out and if i tried to do it myself it wouldn't have turned out good. so i took it to another place, and i think the tow was included.

That's not a bad price if the tow was included.

Fuel filter plus a tow! Good deal in my books. If the price didn't include the tow, you now know where NOT to take your car if/when there's a next time.
