ok for some reson im getting the impression if i repaint the front where my bumper is cracking... they'll just come back. is this true?

Yes, they will, its from sun and wear. My spoiler has them they are bearly visible unless you get real real close, i wouldnt worry unless it looks bad and makes it look dull from fat away. -
