it's a 93 3.4 camaro with 160,000 miles on it, when he hits the gas the engine throbs and pulses, for instance when putting constant pressure on the pedal the rpms suddenly dip down as if it's not getting any gas for a second, however when accelerating from a stop the car doesn't shift into 2nd gear til it gets to like 6000 rpm. Does this sound something fuel related, transmission related or something totally different?
clogged injector? Tranny going?
any ideas where to start here?
i recently took apart my 3.4 down to the heads so if it's anything down to that point i would not be afraid of fixing it up myself. To add to this dilemna the car seems to leak oil around the valve covers and there is a constant coolant leak down the front of the engine, which i can imagine is from the LIM gasket?
any ideas here guys?
thanks
