  • Engine Temp?

What should be normal engine temperature? My car stalled out twice yesterday. I started it up today and let it idle for 2 mins and the temp gauge was just under half. I don't believe it should have gotten that hot in two minutes. Would the car shut itself off and bring up the check gauges light in the middle of driving if it got too hot like that?

I checked the engine coolant tester in the bottom left of the engine bay near the passenger headlight, and it had about a centimeter of it wet. It looks like jiffy lube may have missed filling that up? Could I have a leak somewhere? Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks in advanced :D

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
