    You would tell decent gains, but nothing SOTP. I would recommend it...I used to have one and liked it, but I got to the point on my modification that the JET Chip actually hurt performance rather than helping it.

      hey man,
      i wouldnt get one, i had the stage 2 on my 99, and i didnt feel anything more than throttle response :eek: plus if you go nirtous (like me) you have to get rid of it.

      i cant rememner but arent they like just under $200? if so, save your money... $350 for an edge TC, or a servo kit for under $100, i felt more improvement from both of them.

        Viper, what does SOTP mean? this will probably be the last power adding mod I ever do. Everything else from now on will be either handling or appearence

          Those chips don't do a whole lot unless you have an automatic. There basicly a waste man.

              there is a thread about custom tunign in a 3.8 from a while back. if you do a quick search there is a link in it for a place taht does real custom tuning based on data logging, not jsut a generic tune.
              the problem with off the shelf chips is that they are not for your car specifically. they are jsut a program that is a bit better than stock, but not even close to optimized.
              the old thread was started by me, so use my name in the search to find it.

                Jetchip = worthless.
                The shop my dad used to work at looked at a stock computer and looked at what the jetchip had... EXACTLY the same thing!
                The jetchip didn't even change anything from the stock fuel curve or whatever... big ripoff.
