ok its like this...i warm the car up in the morning (temp. has been around 0-20F), and turn on the heat (defroster etc.).This is all well and good but the air comes out cold. Sometimes it comes out warm when the car is moving, but when the car is standing still it ALWAYS comes out cold. This has only been happening of late, and its getting me pissed. Is it a switch? Anything frozen? has this happened to anyone b4? any help is appreciated.
how long do you wait?? I usually sit there for 10 minutes or so before it gets hot. When I am in a rush though I just drive and wait for it to get hot, it takes about 6 minutes when driving though.
Hows the coolant level in your radiator, that is usually the cause of heat problems. If there's plenty of coolant, maybe try flushing the heater core...that did alot of good for my heat.

has anybody found anything out about this...i just tried not turning the heater on till i've been driving about 10 or so mins..but its pissing me off that it doesn't blow hott air when i'm standing still.....and are everyone's electric windows working. My driver's side window is like frozen shut, but its not frozen!! I hear the motor try to crank but the window doesn't move and i don't wanna kill the motor. THe other one works fine. I hate cold weather! I think i'm gonna hafta lube the tracks up when it gets nice so that they move easy, i hear too many people having to replace the motor that rolls the windows down...

i dont get hot air unless the car is warmed up. If i get the car to 175* or so above then i have heat. But once i start driving the engine cools down and i no longer have heat. I even try turning off the fan switch so the engine will heat up.
you guys might have a vacuum line with a leak in it or something, and it's not moving the door that controls the temp. Can you guys change where the air blows, like defrost, and then floor? If the air direction doesn't change then it would almost have to be a vacuum leak.
I'm having the same problem as CAMAROWIDBASS is having..
takes about 15 minutes to warm up but once you start driving the heat stops working?
