  • 98 stock guage cluster in a 97?

As the title suggests I want to swap a cluster into my car with MPH on the outside ring(i have a canadian car)... and plan to swap the chip in the Odometer into the new cluster to preserve my Kilometers driven.

The reason... I swapped a US pcm into my car so now my speedo reads in MPH and my odo still reads in KMPH which is fine. I want to get a US cluster so i'll know how fast i'm driving.

Does the cluster HAVE to come from a 97 or will a 98 cluster work?

    Thanks!

wont work different fuel readings and such, very complex.. have to switch fuel level sender and PCM if you wanted it to work.
