I have a 2002 v6, ive been having some problems with accelerating and am not sure where i should start in figuring out the problem. idle is fine, reving when not in gear is fine, while in gear and pressing the pedal i have power and pull up untill round 2.5-3000 rpm, and for some reason it kinda cuts out there almost like a redline, it just doesnt really pick up speed or i cant feel the torque. any suggestions on where i can begin? coils, or fuel injectors, electrical? i only have 60k on it so im pretty sure there is no engine damage or anythign like that.... i hope well thx hope this is clear enough

Re: accel problem
After checking the obvious things I'd start with fuel pressure when the engine is under load. My fuel pump went out at 49K. Yours could be providing enough fuel until you get to those RPM's when accelerating, because the engine is under load. After that, there isn't enough fuel to keep it going.
