It doesn't work.
It hasn't worked since I bought the car.
I am tired of the squeaking and rattling that the hatch makes when I hit a bump.
I can't figure out what is wrong with it.
I find it hard to believe I am the only person with a Firebird that this has happened to.
Any ideas?
Or is there another way to solve the problem?

actually older ones do, it's really cool, my friends 25th aniv. camaro has one, after you push it most of the way closed, a little hook grabs it and pulls it all the way closed, i don't know why they stopped using them.

The guy at the dealership told me they stoped that because people would just slam the hatch down and it would break it. It was costing to much to fix all of them so they switched it.
