Premium keeps the motor cleaner, Valves, injectors, intake track. Bottom line is if you don't pick up enough mileage to make it cost effective to run premium, it's not really worth running it all the time.
I have had to pull timing out of my PCM here and there, to to rid it of all Knock retard on 93 octane. But 93 also let me add timing in places as well (down low).sigpic
