No, it's not normal. Yes, replace the weather stripping.

My T-tops don't leak at all.

If I go through a high pressure car wash I may get a couple of drips but that is it. Even that only happens on occasion.

My 98 doesn't leak except, as mjparme said, in a high pressure car wash.

Definitely look into getting new weather stripping.

Having leaky T-Tops can seriously decrease the value of your car by causing rust/seat stains.

how often you do take them off? you NEED to take them off every once in a while to allow the foam to expand.

also, when was the last time you lubricated the seals? im guessing never.

                  Do those first ;)

I used silicone lubricant spray to treat mine... still leaked. Then i used a silicone sealant on it... still leaked, but i think its just one little spot.

Mine drips in the car wash too. GM only guarantees them not too leak under a certain psi(don't remember the exact psi) which is far below what is used in the car wash. I use Vasaline on all my wetherstriping. Does it leak where the window meets the t-tops? Has the car been in a wreck? Theres alot of things that can cause it to leak. I'd start by looking if the window looks flush to the t-tops and then look for any visable damage.

22k miles on my '01 with T-Tops and not a single leak. Even in a high pressure car wash, they don't leak. Occasionally I'll get one single drop if I opened my door then closed it and it's raining. Just crank the window up a little tighter and that's solved. I guess I'm lucky cause I hear GM's T-tops are notorious for leaking.

Mine would sometimes drip once in a car wash. I fixed that - I don't go to car washes anymore (money is too rare for me anymore).
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
