  • do i need abs reluctor ring?

i am getting my 3.42's installed tommorow and i am getting a used limited slip from a 94 z28 rearend. My question is do i need to buy a new reluctor ring or can i use one already in the used rearend?

The one in the rearend has a high chance of breaking when you take it out....the reluctor ring is real cheap too

when i swapped in my lsd i just reused the old one. i don't think you will break it, just be careful.

If you have 3.08s now, you will need a new one. That may or may not come with the new differential. I would assume that the new diff would not include it.

They are like $20 or so. I would strongly suggest getting a new one. If you have one from the used differential, I would say it might be okay to reuse it, but if you don't, get a new one.
