    Re: Cooked PCM?

After driving for a while, it seemed like I may have been running rich and my exhaust was blowing some white smoke, and now I got a P1518 code, which I looked up to mean that my TPS may have gone bad. If this is the case I need a new throttle body, correct? Any other way to fix this?

I'd let it sit for a while, maybe your pcm is just messin with you cause you pissed it off. If you keep having issues say two weeks from now, look into it.

Ignore that. PCM's don't get "pissed off". Did you clear the code? Does it keep coming back? When my t/b died, constantly threw about 6 codes that would never clear.

I haven't tried clearing it, I will tonight. Is it possible that it will just get better?
