I know this should be plugged in somewhere...HELP!
I know this should be plugged in somewhere...HELP!
I just got my car back from the shop after rebuilding the engine. 1995 Camaro V6 3.4L. I saw a loose plug that looks like it should be plugged in to a sensor or something. I tried to look for a socket nearby but could not find a socket missing this plug. Anybody know where this is supposed to go? I have attached pics of he plug and the engine bay location to give you guys an idea. Also, the radiator fan is not turning on, could this be why? TIA.
Re: I know this should be plugged in somewhere...HELP!
I believe that is the harness for the air pump, which the 3.4L with an automatic does not have. Mine has the same plug and it is not used for anything.

Don't know. I was referring to the pics' links when I wrote fixed. As of right now, I haven't figured out what socket this plug goes to. I saw where the IAT is at on the intake and it is occupied. Fan works now,so it's not it. Tested my foglights and they work so this is not for them. I'm gonna go with nascar on this one. I'll be stopping by the shop where I had my engine rebuilt to see if they would know.

now that i think about it, he's right, it does go to the air pump, but like he said, it dont go anywhere on your car since you dont have one.
