Just through the brake booster, heard it was bad through oil. It did NOT knock beforehand and it did not get revved above 3k. My gf just bought this car.
No SES light, definately a tick / click coming from the valve cover, so I'm thinking lifter for sure, not sure what seafoam would have done to cause it though.. gonna try changing oil and lucas additive and see what happens.
If you ran it through the brake booster I don't think it should've ever hit the lifters at all. She just bought the car? Maybe seafoam didn't have anything to do with it, and it was just something under normal course of operation?
I'm sure it wasnt ticking at all beforehand though. Seafoamed, got it all out and still fine, then parked it overnight, and ticking when i started it up in the morning.
Didnt tick during test drive or anything until the morning after seafoam. Just put in Rislone and new oil and still ticking :( Very front of the passenger valvecover loud as hell. Goes with RPMS
