I'm trying to track down the pictures of this swap. I first saw them on this site, i've searched and searched cant find it. Im in the middle of the v8 swap, I'm putting in a small block 350, carbed. I've seen it done and done again. I even saw it in person at a recent swap meet. I have the motor down in the bay. I swapped in the lt1 cradle and have all the lt1 mounts. One side lines up, the other just requires a plate to catch all the bolts. I'm just having some probs getting the motor back far enough, matter of two inches... Just thought id take a look at some pics but cant find anything! Thanks for the help.

Re: Chevy Small Block Gen 1 v8 swap pictures!?!?
Im not swapping an lt1. Its a gen 1 motor. This particular block is yr 77 I believe. And why!? Well, I dont know alot about an ls1, or even how to begin wiring one. Oh...and didn't want to spend the money on something I dont know about...in my books that would be a bad investment. We build cirlce track cars and I know the gen 1 chevy inside and out. I came across a good deal on a few extra blocks and one complete motor. The complete is going into the car for now, get it moving for the summer or so. Then I have a 400 4bolt and a 350 4bolt on the stand...we'll see how money goes and see what I build. I've just been trying to track down the few pictures of the swap that I've seen before. Just check out a cpl clearance issues. Thanks for the help guys!
