I'm not usually a butt hole, but this made me mad. Its frustrating when people are recieving helpful ideas but insist of thinking and doing otherwise. You can do it man, i've see your mods. Props to you, its not easy...but you just have to go after it...as I did. Good luck to you! And eh hem...eat it. :)
Wow you almost looked like a douche bag. Take that however you want. But I understand.. I do.. there's this other guy on this forum.. oh man. Wait till you run into him, you'll know who he is when you see him.

And no, I'm not talking about smoke panther. :D

for those of you who care.. and for those of u who think i'm too lazy to do anything about my problems....

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i took 3 hours in the beautiful Buffalo sunshine to install not only my new fancy manual radiator fan switch, but my B&M shift improver kit. i followed directions to a T and it worked out great. I think it's awesome how my fan didn't work before and now that i have the power to turn it on whenever, it does work! i installed it all very nicely with good crimps and tape and tie holders. The switch for the shift improver is mounted just under the steering column and the manual fan switch is located at the bottom left of the center console piece right by my knees when i'm driving. It looks pro!

anyhow, i took the car for a spin and it was nice to be able to turn on the rad. fan when it got a little hot and it halted the temps advance which is all i really needed. and the shift improver kit isn't anyting to soil yourself over but where you couldn't notice shifts before, you do in fact "feel" them now, just a little bit more umph which was what i was looking for.

thats a good point but since i've replaced the fuse, relay, and now i know the fan motor works, i am stumped on what can be wrong, i would guess coolant temp sensor but they are both brand new!

I think a few people here have that same problem and it's not been clearly answered. Apparently whatever is suppose to activate the fans isn't working because it can't be the fan motors themselves since they do work with the switch.

yes or the relay and fuse if you changed them out.

I gotta figure out why my gf's fans aren't working here real soon. Mercury Topaz. Oh am I ever looking forward to this... I think AAA said that they hit her motor with a hammer and it kinda spun so it's probably the motor itself. Wtf? They hit her motor with a hammer? This is why I'm learning this stuff, so I don't have to bring it to retards who bang around on things that don't work.
