    Re: overheating problem.

Saw a receipt of some work I got done years ago on my 97 camaro... Apparently at one time my fans weren't coming on and I had my mechanic check it out while getting other work done. My invoice stated that a fusible link had to be replaced in the wiring to the fans. Just thought I would throw that out there for you guys who mentioned you wanted to fix the issue and not rely on a switch to turn the fans on and off. Of course I did not fix this myself, but I do remember them showing me a wire loom by the battery that they got into to replace the fusible link. Good luck.
