Well, for the first time in three years I took the Camaro to a dyno; My results were kind of lame for what I expected...but oh well. Its not anything special anyway. The only mods to the car is the free ram air, which doesnt help on a stationary dyno haha and a flowmaster muffler with dual exits. The car has I believe 3.42 gears in it, because the door code is GU6, but I guess I could be wrong... lol

Anyway, the results were this: 167 rwhp, 193 rwtq

Isn't that like a 30% drivetrain loss? It IS an automatic, but I figured the hp would be around 175... Any opinions?

Anyway the real reason I went to the dyno was for the Z28, with a heads and cam, intake manifold, exhaust build, and that took 435 rwhp, 389 rwtq!!!

    :) Just wanted to post!

How many miles? Most cars don't really live up to their quoted numbers, and not to mention, 200 HP is GM's measurement at the flywheel I believe.

      correct

HP ratings are at the flywheel, its a way to cheat to get bigger numbers in a way.

if your car was a manual, im sure you would have reached the 175 mark

that is actually impressive to me, i figured our cars would be making arund 140 at the wheels

ehhh yea...I thought it was a 210hp engine rating... meh

Its got 91k on it..I'm not impressed by hp, but the torque seemed pretty good!

its 200 HP, 225 ft. lbs Torque at the flywheel, and at 93k, I'm suprised the tranny actually put those numbers down lol...cant wait to dyno mine...
