I worked on the bird a bit today.

I changed the coolant, cleaned the electrical grounds/battery terminals and installed my new MAF screen.

Pretty painless as stuff goes but I may have sucked at flushing the coolant.
I don't think I got the old stuff out of the thermometer? I don't know. I think I flushed about 2 gallons then replaced it with antifreeze. So now I have way too much antifreeze compared to the amount of water I have. Not sure its gonna matter much though.

anyway, with the new MAF screen the car feels way more confident. The old one was shot to hell. I wish I had taken a picture of it. All those little vanes were bent and restrictive-looking.

I cleaned 4 grounds, because thats all I could find (?) and I didn't have any more corrosion protection gunk, so I wiped a little bit of wax on top of em.

if you want to flush it again, just empty it, and stick a hose in there. let it fill. then drain it. after its drained, fill it with water again. keep doing that till it look clear. then just fill it with coolant!
