Ok heres the deal. A few weeks ago while riding around I noticed the passenger floorboard was wet. Seeing how the heater core was changed about a year ago, I assumed that a heater hose clamp was loose and leaking into the car. All the clamps were tight. I set the car up for a few day to let the carpet dry. Drove it again for a few hours last week with the A/C on, once again there was water in the floorboard. This time I checked it...its clear in color and doesnt smell so I dont think its antifreeze. I let it dry out again, rode around yet again but with no A/C.....this time no water puddles. So now at this point I'm thinking the drain from the A/C box must be stopped up and backing up into the car. Today I crawled under the car to check it...it looks clear of any obstructions. What gives? I know I've GOT to be forgetting something? Anyone have some ideas? Suggestions?

Re: A/C problem/question....help!!!
You can try blowing air into the little hole on the bottom of the HVAC box if you can get an air nozzle to it. If not, at least try sticking something into the drain to try to clear it.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

Re: A/C problem/question....help!!!
Tried that already....nothing came out....Im probably just gonna rip into the dash this weekend to check it....either that or take it to the dealership, I'm sick of this mess. After paying $400 for new carpet at Christmas and now having a 2nd headliner coming down due to riding around with the windows down, Ive GOT to get the AC fixed.

If there's no clog at the drain hole, then you're probably looking at a crack in the HVAC box somewhere.... it's really a very simple design. There should be only one place for water from the evaporator to go (out).-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater
