    Im not 100% sure. I havent taken mine apart yet. Im doing it tomorrow.

      When they talk about milling the timing cover they are not talking about milling down the mounting lip. They mean milling the inside of the timing cover, giving more clearance.

        Clearance issues have been with the oil pump cover specifically. The oil pump is within the front cover, covered by a plate which comes damn close to the timing chain. You'll understand when you pull the cover off.
        I'm not gonna be able to hardly run my car this year, i'll put 2,000 miles on it if I'm lucky. I am then going to buy new heads and install a cam next year so when I go back into the engine I'll let you know if I have any first hand experience with clearance issues.

        I read that whole thread shodown, you now have me worried a tiny bit. Just a little. We'll see though. If I had it to do again, I would have it milled down. Better safe than sorry.
