nope, dont want to take it to a pro! haha well i was random troubleshooting. changed all the coil packs with my dad's 94 bonneville (they use the same luckily) and no change. so we started checking plugs...plug wires...the works. going cylinder by cylinder and fireing her up after each check. then one time the idle went from crap...to completely normal. just evened out randomly. the only guess we have is that when we took the fuel rails off all the fuel was drained out, so air replaced it. and when we put them back on the air remained inside them and the fuel lines...so when we fired it up there was air in the lines so the injectors couldn't put out the right amount of fuel causing it to run like crap till all the air was pushed out and a steady stream of fuel was established...sound crazy?? i dont know...just the hypothesis. the car runs fine though! :D took her out for a spin and everything was great. before my boost gauge was bouncing all over the place at idle, and now it hold steady at 20 vacuum like normal. idle is strong and drives perfectly.
