i have a manual fan switch and i'm tired of it. i want the fans to come on automatically when i start the car. its a 98 firebird 3.8. what wires can i tap into?

you dont want your fans running all the time.
Another way is if u have Hp tuners you can change the fan temp.

get hptuners and tune it for it or do a mail order tune to kick them on sooner.Comment

mine dont come on at all unless i turn the switch on.
so connect it to the accessories wire thats under the dash by the radio?Comment

JumpInTheFire, you are the silliest kid I've met on this site. Why would you not want a tune? Silly silly silly. Why can't you just wire it back to where it was before the manual fan switch? Unless you installed a different thermostat I don't see why that would be a problem.

Anyways, you should really find out why they don't come on. Wire it up correctly without the manual fan switch and track down your problem from there. See you got screwed with a switch for a bandaid.Last edited by Blizzard242; 05-27-2008, 09:02 PM.
