not if your doing 115 they wont. they engine is still hooked to the trans so it still will keep up the rpm unless you hit the clutch. It doesnt just shut the car off just cuts the fuel off and then goes back to idle
when we hit the speed limiter it cuts off all fuel to the engine
I dont think thats how ours is designed, some GM's do that and then it kicks back in, thats where you get the surging from but with ours it still gives fuel just stops giving more fuel, I believe.

^of course that's not what the car does...if ALL fuel was cut off, the car would stall pretty damn fast. FWIW, I know the rev. limiter functions by pulling back fuel
