Been looking for every and to be frank im fairly pissed off. It's very hard to find performance parts for a 96. I pretty much just need a cam, found headers pushrod, rockers, springs. But I can't find a site that sells cams for 96's so I can stop with the upgrades and let my wallet recover. Can anyone hook me up with a site.

3800II engines are pretty much the same, only thing you gotta look out for is the gtp heads are different. Abbott sells a a cam for the 93 3.4 also.Last edited by David8399; 05-31-2008, 11:02 AM.96 camaro auto base model
slp cai
pacesetter headers
flowmaster catback
35th anniversary ss wheels
richmond 3.73
98+ ss spoiler
hypertech 160 degree thermostat
transgo shift kit

Re: Websites
The problem I run into is that the 93-95 are 3.4L. Then every site I have went on including abbott and ZZP completely skips the 96-97 years. Then continues with 98-02. Now will the slight change in the engine from the 96-97 to 98-02 make a difference in buying a cam?

Re: Websites
The 3800 II is the 3800 II is the 3800 II.
The blocks are the same, the pistons and rods can vary but are all enterchangable... as are the cams.
I have no clue why 1998 3.8 SII cam wouldn't work in a 1996 3.8 SII motor.
