Ever since I replaced the third brake light with a 194 LED bulb, the cruise control doesn't work anymore. I think it is because the cruise control is designed to not work when the third brake light is out and since there are only little bit of resistance from the LED bulbs, the computer probably thinks that the light bulbs are out. Is there anyway to solve this problem without having to put regular bulbs back in? Also, anyone know what kind of bulbs are used on the third brake light? I'm starting to think its something other than 194 because it is oddly shaped. Maybe I can find a LED bulb that works for it on eBay.

Actually what you said is exactly what happens when there is no load on the third brake light. And those led's pull close to nothing in terms of current. I have actually heard of using a a certain type of resistor wired in parallel along the wiring harness for the third brake light giving the amount of current needed to enable the cruise. Im not sure of the resistance and wattage values but you might try searching.1995 Arctic White Camaro. 3.4L/A4

\"Stupid men make mistakes, wise men learn from mistakes\"
