I just got my hands on a 2001 Camaro. front end damage of course.
my question is, can I take the front frame rails and put them on this 01? are the frames the same? or are they different. I see that I can order the frame rail assy from GMparts direct for $600... but if the 97 frame is the same as the 01 (fender rail frames) then I'll swap them out, and part out my car..
they dont have part numbers on them.. people swap out the fenders from 98+ on the 97- and thats all it holds.. I know t he engine bay was a lil different.. but thats all stamped metal
yeah this frame is SHOT! so I'll just take EVERYTHING out of the 01 and put it in my 97... the sell my interior, because this 01 was fully loaded! power seats and everything. so i'll just gut my 97, and gut the 01 and swap everything out and paint her up.. sad because this 01 has stock T tops.. so I have a headliner!
