All I know is that I've the only oil I have used in the new engine. Never had any knocks and I only changed it every 10 months.(I know, I know).
It had real good write ups from Hot Rod mag, etc.
2 summers ago I drove in literally 115* heat with NO coolant until the motor finally shut off, and 2 years later, from what I can tell not too much happened, no noises, ticks etc. I know someone who did the same thing with their Monte Carlo with regular oil, they froze their engine.
Just my 2 cents.....95 Camaro 3.8L Y2K motor <br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/coriya71\" target=\"_blank\">www.cardomain.com/id/coriya71</a>
