Re: a/c compressor
those manuals are garbage when it comes to removing the compressor
there should be 2 bolts you need to take out in the back on a bracket, and another in the middle of the back of the compressor to take the ac lines off
edit* you will most likely need a swivel socket adapter, it makes it a ton easier

Re: a/c compressor
there are 3 up front, and another 2 in the rear?

IIRC there is a bolt up front on the block and one on back for it
when i took the compressor out, i lifted it up from the top of the engine, it was much easier that way
i also left the bracket that holds the compressor on the block and just took the two bolts out of the compressor

Re: a/c compressor
there are three bolts in the front and a mounting bracket in the back.
you only have to take off 5 bolts and the belt to get it off the car.Y87 Package

Re: a/c compressor
I was reading that after removing the belt, and disconnecting the electrical connector, remove the bolts on the front, jack up the car to get to the 2 bolts in the back. The back must be a bracket that both hoses connect to. Also I believe thats where 2 seals are also located.

btw the 2 metal hoses in the back of the compressor are already disconnected, will this help with me taking it out?

i cant remember how many bolts are back there
and yes, that is where the two seals are, make sure when replacing them you put them on the right way and cover them with oil

both hoses form into one mount, which is held on by one bolt
