3 PS Pumps????

In the past month i have gone through 3 power steering pumps...yes thats right 3!!!!
One burned up (my fault i replaced it thinking that was where the leak was and i had a leak on a high pressure hose)
2nd one. Front seal gave out and started pouring out steering fluid after i drove for 2 miles.
3rd one apparently doing the same thing as the second. Is there something on the car that can make this seal give out or am i just getting crappy parts from Autozone?

Never heard of that before. I would go to a mechanic that guarantees their work, let him deal with figuring it out.

Could possibly be a bad batch of Power Steering pumps... they were covered under warranty, right? And were they all the same brand?

Yes all same brand...2 different autozone stores though. I mean seriously they need to switch vendors if that is the case.

uh is it possible you have some sort of rediculous pressure building up? maybe as the result of some kind of blockage? not sure I've heard of anything like that before...

what would i need to do in order to clear blockage if thats the case? Flush the power steering system?

If you had a blockage then you wouldn't have power steering. My first guess would be cheap power steering pumps. How are you removing/reinstalling the pulley?
