    I will still have heat if I decide to delete it though correct?...I should also be able to see if it is damaged just by taking it out and looking at it to right? Is there anything I should know before I go out and just yank this thing? like will something blow up in my face?

      your heating unit and a/c unit arn't connected so yes your will be fine with the heat. just don't remove ne thing that doesn't need to come out.(and i mean come out and stay out). no just because the coil looks good doesn't mean that it is. it could have clogs etc on the inside. just make sure that you purge all the systems.

        Heh... come on, taking out the dashboard isn't THAT hard.

            whats that hole for in the passengerside firewall? Is that where my evap coil is gunna be?

              That hole is where the HVAC box that contains the Evap core goes. Only removing the whole box will leave you with that hole. Here's a pic of the evaporator in the box (out of the car):
