Anyone have a '98 locking gas cap?
I searched and some say they are different models than the 99-02s.

I have one......(people around here are *******s) picked it up for like $10 @ PepBoys

I bought one, it didn't fit. There were too little triangle things on the side that we're blocking it, so it was probably for a 99-02. I just "modified" (read cut some of the triangles off) and it fit right on.Comment

hey ya'll, i was "searching" for some info on a locking gas cap for my '98 v6 camaro, i've been to every parts store & so far nothing fits & even the STANT catalog doesn't show one for a '98? & the one for a '97 & back or a '99 & up won't fit? anyone got a '98 with a locking cap &/or can tell me where i can get one? ...with the rising (arg-again!) cost of gas & the pschyo x-girlfriend...just thought it would be a wise investment! thanks!Comment

i may be wrong, but the 97 should work, since the 97 used the same fuel tank, and the same back endComment
