      Yeah.. I'm pretty confused what the problem is too. You just gotta shove the tool in there with not even that much force then the other side slides off. Hmm maybe you guys should wiggle it some hah :)

        I guess my tool was defective or had some kind of unseen burr on it. I returned the tools and searched around for another size. Ended up borrowing a tool from a buddy of mine. He gave me the exact same tool as the GM one I had before, but plastic instead of metal. I put it in and it popped off within 2 seconds.

        Thanks for the help guys, guess I just got a faulty tool.

          glad you noticed, and that the flame didnt run the line and cause some serious damage...

          inadverdently damaging parts during repair/install FTL!

          :bs: a flame couldn't "run the line," there is no oxygen in the line to allow for a fire. durrr! lawls
